Manager Legal & Compliance

As a Legal & Compliance Manager at SuperOps, you will play a crucial role in handling end-to-end legal operations for entities in India and the US. Your responsibilities will include entity compliance, contract management, legal coordination, and governance & internal policies. Key Responsibilities: - Entity Compliance: - Handle legal notices, responses, and communications for US, India, and NZ entities. - Manage statutory and regulatory compliance under various laws in India. - Liaise with US registered agents and advisors for compliance. - Maintain a master compliance calendar for all entities. - Contract Management: - Draft, vet, and negotiate various agreements. - Support Sales and Finance teams with contract reviews and renewals. - Maintain a contract repository and ensure timely renewals. - Develop internal contract playbooks and templates. - Legal Coordination & Advisory: - Work with external counsel for legal matters. - Provide legal inputs to internal stakeholders on business decisions. - Governance & Internal Policies: - Draft, review, and update internal policies. - Maintain documentation trails for all legal and policy documents. - Build scalable frameworks for risk management. Qualifications: - LLB / BL from a reputed university; LLM or CS background preferred. - 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in SaaS / Tech / IT sectors. - Proven experience in managing India + US entity compliance and contract negotiation. - Excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with SaaS legal aspects. Preferred Skills: - Working knowledge of QuickBooks / Xero / contract-tracking tools. - Experience coordinating with Big 4 / legal advisory firms. - Ability to independently handle legal notices. - Strong project-management mindset and attention to detail.
