Responsible for managing end-to-end land acquisition and legal processes for utility-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring clear titles, regulatory compliance, and timely project execution.
Identify, assess, and acquire land parcels for solar and wind projects through lease or purchase
Conduct site feasibility checks including access, terrain, and project suitability
Lead negotiations with landowners, aggregators, and local intermediaries
Draft, review, and execute land lease deeds, sale deeds, MOUs, and related agreements
Ensure clear title verification, encumbrance-free land transfer, and complete documentation
Coordinate land conversion (agricultural to non-agricultural) and comply with state land laws
Liaise with government authorities and local bodies for statutory and regulatory approvals
Manage legal, technical, and lender due diligence and address queries from stakeholders
Oversee vendor and aggregator performance and ensure timely land handover
Track land acquisition costs, payment schedules, and maintain land records
Prepare MIS reports on land status, approvals, risks, and acquisition progress
Bachelors degree in Law or Engineering (Civil/Electrical preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy land acquisition
Strong knowledge of land laws, documentation, and statutory approvals
Fluency in Gujarati (written & spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and Google Earth preferred
