Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

SARFAESI Process Management:

Oversee the complete SARFAESI lifecycle, including issuance of notices, symbolic and physical possession, auctions, and sale of secured assets.
Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and enforcement agencies for smooth execution.

Notice Management:

Draft, review, and issue statutory notices under SARFAESI (13(2), 13(4)), pre/post-sale notices and other legal communications.
Respond to customer and lawyer correspondence promptly and accurately.

Litigation & Enforcement:

Initiate and manage legal proceedings under applicable laws, including Section 138 of the NI Act, arbitration cases, and execution of awards.
Liaise with police authorities for warrants, orders, and enforcement actions.

Vendor & Lawyer Management:

Empanel and manage external lawyers and legal vendors.
Monitor panel performance, ensure compliance with SLAs, and oversee legal billing and cost optimization.

Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain accurate legal MIS and dashboards for case tracking and audit purposes.
Ensure adherence to TATs and regulatory guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:
Proven track record in debt recovery, NPA management, and commercial litigation.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and legal drafting.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Attributes:
Proactive, results-driven and capable of working under strict timelines.
