Job Description

Take responsibility for overseeing the planning, execution, and ensuring the timely delivery of assigned audits. Provide support in department-wide exercises such as annual audit planning, issue validation, risk assessment processes, handling regulatory requests, and training initiatives. Assist in the development of the GIA risk assessment and the formulation of an appropriate audit plan based on identified risks. Propose relevant audits for coverage during the audit cycle, leveraging your understanding of the business and associated risks. Carry out your audit responsibilities in strict adherence to the Audit Charter, maintaining independence from management and operating free from any undue interference. Assist in effectively managing the costs associated with assigned audits within the allocated budget for each audit engagement. Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing efficiencies within the audit workflow and processes. Participate as an active team member in assigned audit work and may take on the role of team leader for specific audits.
