Position Title: LIMS Sales Person Location: India (Pan India) Job Type: Full-time Reports to: Senior Sales Manager / Regional Sales Director Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced LIMS Sales Person for the India Geo to drive sales of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) solutions across various industries. This position involves identifying business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with clients, and positioning LIMS as the ideal solution for laboratory data management. The role requires in-depth knowledge of LIMS, a strong sales background, and the ability to work across multiple sectors, including Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Oil Gas, and Healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive the growth and sales of LIMS solutions in India. Identify and target new business opportunities within industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Food Beverage. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to tailor presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that address customer needs. Customer Engagement Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in laboratories and organizations across multiple sectors. Engage with potential customers to understand their laboratory data management needs and offer customized solutions using LIMS. Lead compelling product demonstrations and presentations, emphasizing the value proposition of LIMS solutions. Lead Generation Prospecting: Proactively generate new leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and participation in industry events. Qualify and prioritize leads based on customer needs, industry fit, and potential for LIMS adoption. Sales Negotiation Closing: Lead negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and clients. Manage the full sales cycle, ensuring smooth contract execution and the final closing of deals. Market Research Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitor offerings. Stay updated on LIMS product developments and industry trends to offer the most relevant solutions to clients. Sales Reporting Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, regularly updating forecasts and sales reports to track performance. Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets while driving business growth and revenue generation. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree or MBA is a plus. Experience: 8-12 years of experience in sales, specifically within the LIMS, software, or MedTech solutions industry. Proven success in selling LIMS or enterprise-level software solutions, with experience in developing strong relationships across multiple organizations. Familiarity with LIMS products and/or experience working with laboratory information management solutions is highly desirable. Experience selling to sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Food Beverage is preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of LIMS solutions, laboratory data management, and the challenges specific to the industry. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide tailored, high-impact solutions. Strong time management, organizational, and self-motivation skills. Proficient in using MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.
