As a Project Manager in Talent Acquisition at Illumina, you will have the opportunity to lead large cross-functional project teams for Human Resources using project management methodology standards. Your role will involve acting as a consultant to stakeholders in developing project concepts, managing core project management deliverables, and facilitating clear status updates for key project stakeholders. It will be essential for you to partner with business owners to optimize processes and identify action plans to increase efficiencies. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading large cross-functional project teams primarily in Talent Acquisition - Acting as a consultant to stakeholders in developing project concepts - Developing and managing core project management deliverables - Escalating critical risks, issues, changes, problems, or delays to the project sponsor & HRIS leadership - Facilitating clear status updates for key project stakeholders - Partnering with business owners to optimize business processes Requirements for this role include: - Familiarity and experience with HR & Talent Acquisition programs, systems, and processes - Ability to work effectively with HR leadership & stakeholders - Utilizing interpersonal and change management skills to overcome resistance - Strong business acumen to recommend optimal solutions - Self-starter with proven ability to produce results under tight deadlines - Advanced knowledge and experience in Project Management Methodologies - Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Advanced MS Office skills - Advanced communication and presentation skills - Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, high-tech, or related field preferred - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, or related field In addition to the listed responsibilities and requirements, changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.
