Job Description

Requirement for HR:

  1. Establish strong talent sourcing pool

    :
  • Align with third party vendors, online portals and social media website to create channel for sourcing of right talent pool on time and within suitable TAT.
  • There is requirements to be filled in departments such as Sales, Finance, Inventory, Plant Maintenance etc. which requires a robust system to manage on time fulfillment of vacancies for smooth functioning.
  • Adhoc resignations are not addressed correctly as the talent sourcing is not agile
  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • There is a need to develop and implement a recruitment strategy which includes the JD Preparation, license for talent portals (such as Linkedin, Naukri), alignment with third party vendor for talent acquisition.
  • HR is expected to prepare JD and get it approved by HoD, screen candidates on Naukri and Linkedin as per the JD. Schedule interviews with Panel, technical and culture fitment, minimum two rounds per candidate.
  • HR is solely responsible for first level screening of candidates and JD preparation on the basis of requirements shared by Hiring manager.
  • Evaluate the market to identify the industry standard for talent pool, salary benchmarking.
  1. Onboarding:

  • Prepare and implement smooth onboarding process which should include brief about the company, expectations from the role, evaluation during probation, due diligence on the background verification and documentation review.
  • HR is expected to communicate the company policies to the employee and the expectations from his role.
  1. Employee Performance Monitoring:

  • HR is expected to prepare the skill matrix of all the employee in the organization.
  • Define KPIs of each employee in Head office and Plant. Prepare a structure for yearly performance evaluation of employees based on KPIs. Performance will be considered as a factor during increment and bonus disbursement.
  1. Organization Structure and JD:

    Prepare the organization structure of the existing workforce and define Roles and Responsibilities of each employee with skill matrix.
  2. Establish HR Policy

    :
  • Create and implement HR policies for Corporate Office, Manufacturing Plants and Trading Units in alignment with compliances.
  • Ensure Policies are adhered to without any non compliance.
  1. Centralize Attendance Management:

  • Establish process to centralize the attendance management across all units and real time attendance verification should be possible through an application.
  • If needed, implement HRMS system to automate the attendance, leave and payroll management.
  1. Compliance at Units

    : Prepare and implement a continuous review of the plants and trading units in accordance with the applicable laws. Any non compliance should be addressed on priority without any delay.
  2. Employee Retention

    : Regularly engage with employee to address any grievances and maintain cordial environment. Employee iteration should not be more than 10%.
  3. Payroll Management

    : Ensure the salaries are disbursed on time before 3rd of every month.
  4. Exit Management

    : Ensure all the approvals are in place related to department of the employee, IT and Finance before the last working day of the person.
