Job Description

Position Title: Manager - HR & Admin

This requirement is from Manufacturing client

Work Location: SIPCOT Industrial Park, Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur

Experience: 8 to 15 years of experience from Manufacturing Company's HR expertise.

Prefer: Candidates who can join within 1 week from the date of offer

Expectations: Candidate should live within 15 kms of Factory location (or) enable them to commute to the factory within 45 mins time

Roles & Responsibilities:

MANPOWER MANAGEMENT

1. Prepare Annual Manpower plan in consultation with concerned Team Leads and get the approval of Director Operations.

2. Identify vacancies across the organization and initiate the hiring process.

3. Should write the Job Descriptions for all Staff positions.

RECRUITMENT

1. Recruitment of Staff & Operators to be carried out as per the Recruitment Policy of the Company.

2. Sourcing of potential candidates through Job Portals, Social Media platforms, Professional groups, Educational and Technical Institutes, Print Media, Referrals, Consultants etc.

3. Screening of candidates and conduct interviews

4. To administer the Tests to be conducted for the eligible candidates

5. Co-ordinate for the Interviews and Organize for the Offer letter as per company process

ONBOARDING PROCESS

1. To organize for the joining formalities for the new comers and communicate about the joiner(s) with concerned internal stake holders accordingly

2. To initiate the Induction program for the new comer(s)

3. To organize for the Personal Dossier for the new comers and maintain appropriately for the existing staff members

SUGGESTION SCHEME

1. To facilitate the company wide initiatives like Suggestion Scheme and ensure to implement the suggested scheme(s) after due approval from Management.

2. Documentation and Maintenance of Records

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

1. To drive the PMS process for staff members.

2. Documentation and Maintenance of PMS records.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

1. Conduct TNA for Employees and Staff in line with IATF requirements.

2. Prepare, obtain Management approval and implement Annual Training Calendar.

3. Achieve Targeted Training Manhours.

4. Assess the effectiveness of the Training Programs.

HR Policy/Systems

1. Document HR Policies.

3. Maintenance of HR records

4. Maintain HR MIS

STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

1. ESI/PF/Inspector of Factories

2. Fire License

3. Pollution Control certificate co-ordination

4. SIMA Co-ordination

5. Payment of Taxes to Local Government Bodies

SALARY AND WAGES.

1. Preparation, verification and uploading of attendance in Payroll Software.

2. Timely processing of Salaries & Wages statement through Payroll software.

STAFF WELFARE & BENEFITS

1. Organize Founder’s Day.

2. Birthday Cards / Gifts for Employees.

2. Employee transport operations

3. Canteen operations

OTHERS

1. Co-ordinate with Manpower contractor

2. Security - Verify maintenance of registers and compliance of the Security systems.
