Position title: Team Leader Tool Room Experience: 15 yrs of experience in design and manufacture of Plastic Moulds Qualifications: 1) Diploma in Tool and die making from NTTF and GTTC (or) 2) DPMT from CIPET Work Location: SIPCOT, Thandalam Objective: To Design, manufacture and develop, defect free Moulds and maintain the moulds to support and aid the production processes to achieve optimum levels of efficiency and operational excellence in order to accomplish Business objectives. Key Result Areas (KRAs): Responsible for all aspects of Tool Design, manufacture, maintenance, development and testing: Prepare cost estimation for Moulds of new RFQs Achieving Tool manufacturing plan within budgeted norms and adherence to process. Manufactured moulds should be first time right Achieve Zero defect – Reduction of rejections (machine rejections / COPQ) Enhance OEE Performance. Monitor Tool output periodically to ensure on time availability for uninterrupted production 2) Ensure 100% adherence without deviations to IATF standards, SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) 3) Negotiate and co-ordinate with machining supplier and child part vendors for timely delivery. 4) To ensure all standards of safety, 3C, 5S and Health, are implemented to maintain an accident free plant and improve tool quality and accuracy. 5) To continuously monitor and control raw material consumption, deployment / allocation of manpower, energy consumption within norms. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Proven ability to manage teams, set goals, and drive results.
