Senior Engineer Maintenance

Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding

Work Location: Our client's Factory @ SIPCOT Industrial Park, Thandalam, near Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Prefer: Candidate who can join in 2 to 3 weeks time from the date of offer

Role Objective:

To be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of machines/equipment.

To ensure that all the Machines and Utility Equipment’s are in appropriate working conditions without any interruption to production

To provide extended support for continuous improvement & coordinate with teams for smooth plant operations

To work on safety compliance, and efficiency.

Role Responsibilities:

1) To prepare annual preventive maintenance schedule for all the machines

2) To communicate effectively with all the relevant teams and carryout the maintenance as per plan

3) To maintain the documentation as per IATF requirements for all functions from Preventive / Breakdown maintenance to machine spares procurements

4) To make sure to keep the procurements of critical parts and consumables on a timely manner

5) Responsible to maintain the budget

6) To maintain all utility equipment’s like compressors, chillers, DG, Cooling Towers and EOT crane etc., always in working condition

7) Adhere to IATF process requirements and to ensure ‘Nil’ NCR’s during IATF Audit(s)

8) Actively to contribute to the suggestion scheme and ensure the safety of the machines / utility’s in a safe manner

9) To understand the Company practices about 5S, Safety compliances, SKS, Zero Incident initiatives

10) To closely work with all the required teams on a proactive manner with regard to continuous improvement on the working conditions of the machines / Utility’s

Other Expectations:

1. Should have experience in Maintenance of Auxiliary equipment’s - Dosers, MTC’s, Hot Runner Controllers.
2. Should be familiar to Hydraulics /Servo Motors /Electrical drawings/ PLC Controllers
3. Should have worked in IATF Company
4. ‘C’ license certificate will be an added advantage
