Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform
preventive and corrective maintenance
on CNC, VMC, HMC, and other engineering machines.
Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out
repairs, adjustments, and part replacements
.
Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and functioning of machine tools and spindles.
Collaborate with production teams to
reduce breakdowns and improve machine efficiency
.
Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new machines.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and service reports.
Conduct
root cause analysis
of recurring mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
Adhere to
safety standards and company policies
during all maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related field.
Minimum
3+ years of experience
in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing/automotive industries.
Strong knowledge of
CNC, VMC, HMC machine maintenance and troubleshooting
.
Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gear systems, and lubrication practices.
Ability to read and interpret
mechanical drawings and machine manuals
.
Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills
.
Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns
