Job brief

Manager HR & Admin

The HR Manager will perform day-to-day activities of Human Resources department and manage general administration works. The candidate should possess solid organizational skills, be self-driven, highly disciplined and be familiar with the entire gamut of HR functions. Ensure smooth operations of the department with no delays in completing tasks.


Role & responsibilities

HR vertical:

  • Sourcing, selecting and Hiring management / contract staff (White / Blue collar)
  • On-boarding and documentation
  • Paper works such as joining letters, employment letters, NDA's, employee handbooks, self-declaration etc.,
  • Email generation, ID cards, Visiting cards, PPE supply
  • Tracking probation to confirmation process
  • Annual performance appraisals
  • Exit formalities
  • Update company policies
  • Contract agreement with manpower sourcing agencies and annual renewals
  • Labour department compliances, maintaining various registers as per policy
  • Attendance and leave recording
  • Complete pay roll management
  • Salary bank account creation
  • Ensure PF, ESI, PT monthly remittance and maintain all records as per labour / factories act requirement
  • Maintain employee records, employee data, contract and database
  • Industrial /Labour relations
  • Staff Insurance processing
  • Analyse training needs in conjunction with departmental managers and orgnanise training programs
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
  • Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employee

Statutory :

  • Factory Annual returns (related to employee engagement)
  • Factory license timely renewals
  • Entering into AMC's with outsourced vendors such as LAN / IT / Hospital
  • Factory rental agreement renewals
  • Monthly Accident report submission as per Factories Act
  • ISO certification, documentation and audit preparations (STD ISO 9001:2015)

Admin :

1. Handling / Monitoring Housekeeping staff

  • Facility Management : Office and production floor upkeep
  • Canteen / cafeteria management
  • Monitor frequent cleaning of premises
  • On time supply of essentials to cafeteria

2. Handling / Monitoring Security Staff

  • Maintain and check registers at security : Timings registers, Inward and outward material / document registers, Movement registers, Visitor register
  • Drinking water / domestic water supply co-ordination

3. Take up civil / electrical / painting / plumbing activates as and when need arises.

4. Oversee functions of all area, Co-ordinate with maintenance team and ensure periodical service and maintenance of equipments required for smooth functioning of Office area and Production floor.

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager in manufacturing industry
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
