Role Summary:
Lead and manage the hiring function with a strategic approach to workforce planning, resource fulfillment, and deployment across business units and locations. Drive efficient hiring practices, regional resourcing initiatives, and institutional collaborations while strengthening employer branding.
Essential Functions:
Resource Fulfilment, Deployment, and Optimization.
- Serve as the person in-charge for project resource fulfillment, deployment, and rationalization across business units.
- Ensure resource adequacy through proactive forecasting and effective manpower planning.
- Monitor and minimize benching by aligning available talent to active or upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand short- and long-term resource needs and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Talent Acquisition Leadership:
- Drive end-to-end recruitment cycles, from workforce planning to offer negotiation, ensuring efficiency and candidate satisfaction.
- Manage and guide the recruitment team, fostering a high-performance culture through mentorship and capability enhancement.
- Design and implement thoughtful interventions for potential-to-performance-based hiring, ensuring both skill and culture fit.
- Conduct HR final rounds of interviews and take closure ownership of candidate profiles, ensuring alignment with organizational values, culture, and compensation framework.
Strategic Talent Programs and Initiatives:
- Plans and initiatives for Regional Resourcing Programs to source, develop and create opportunities for talents in tier 2 & 3 towns and cities.
- Collaborate with the Training and Capability Building Leadership to identify potential talent pools and develop future-ready candidates.
- Lead initiatives in employer branding, campus recruitment, employee referral programs, and diversity hiring to enhance organizational visibility and inclusivity.
- Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive talent mapping, networking, and database management.
System and Process Excellence:
- Develop a comprehensive system covering various aspects and functions of hiring and resource management, while continuously reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the Hiring Team.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement in the recruitment process, assessment methodologies, and selection standards.
- Enhance and optimize the Hiring Management System (HMS) for greater transparency, speed, and data-driven decision-making.
- Introduce innovative tools and techniques in screening, assessment, and employer branding to attract high-quality candidates.
- Provide insights and data-driven reports to management on recruitment performance, and manpower planning.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to management on workforce planning, hiring progress, and resource optimization, along with actionable inputs for candidate's skill gap analysis and candidate assessment processes.
Collaboration and Relationship Management:
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders including Business Heads, Project Managers, and HR.
- Collaborate externally with training institutes, universities, and professional networks to strengthen the employer brand and outreach.
- Represent the organization at campus drives, industry forums, and talent networking events.
Candidate's Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience:
5 plus years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition, with minimum 2 years in a
team leadership or managerial role that should include
- Managing end-to-end recruitment cycles across functions and organizational levels.
- Planning, strategizing, and executing large-scale or critical hiring mandates.
- Exposure to both technical and non-technical hiring, senior-level recruitment, and niche skill sourcing.
- Working closely with senior management and business leaders on workforce planning and hiring decisions.
- Managing and mentoring a recruitment team and coordinating with external vendors or agencies.
