Description
As a People Manager in our Global Process Management organization, you will lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team while driving operational excellence and innovation in our selling partner experience. The position involves regular interactions with the senior management on status, risks and is a key contributor to weekly Partner Engagement mechanisms which aims to provide the perfect Selling Partner experience as Amazon launches initiatives or initiates changes, makes improvements across tools, adds new features, or creates/updates policies or programs. The Global Process (GP) Program Manager (PMO) will own a portfolio of initiatives and play an integral role in supporting the broader team in contact elimination and change management. The GP PMO needs to interact and influence stakeholders in Root Cause Owning teams, Program, Product/Process Teams, Operations, and Analytics.Key job responsibilities
- Ownership of project management tooling and processes
- Collaboration with cross functional teams to integrate change management processes
- Building out training, onboarding and communication mechanisms across the organization
- Taking responsibility for setting and leading change management governance such as bar raiser programs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects for broader Global Process Management team
- Create and drive mechanisms to build efficiency for team members
- Identify areas of opportunity and create solutions to meet those opportunities
- Look for ways to centralize and standardize tools, processes and mechanisms at scale
- Maintain strong partner team relationships
- Influence decision making across partner teams
- Build complimentary approaches to managing change from business teams across Amazon
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
