Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of company facilities, ensuring alignment with ISO standards.
  • Ensure facilities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).

Operations Oversight:

  • Lead daily operational activities and develop strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and improve processes in line with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) standards.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce safety policies in compliance with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Maintain detailed records of compliance and ensure readiness for inspections and certifications.

Team and Vendor Management:

  • Supervise and mentor facilities and operations teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor contracts, negotiations, and performance, ensuring alignment with ISO and LEED requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability and quality standards into operations.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

  • Develop and manage the facilities and operations budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Evaluate and implement resource optimization strategies that align with ISO standards and sustainability goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities or operations management.
  • Proven track record in sustainable building practices and environmental compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Communication skills.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

  • Based primarily in the office with regular site visits.
  • Availability for crisis management and compliance audits.
