Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Trainer for our Banking and Capital Markets Academy

, responsible for designing and delivering high-impact training programs across key banking and capital market domains. The role focuses on building domain depth, enhancing functional expertise, and supporting transformation readiness through structured learning pathways for employees across levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Training Programs
    • Develop and facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions on retail banking, corporate banking, capital markets operations, products, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Tailor training for various learner levels – from entry-level associates to experienced professionals and team leads.
  • Curriculum and Content Development
    • Collaborate with domain SMEs and business leaders to co-create contextual training content.
    • Build structured learning tracks aligned to job roles, career paths, and certification goals.
  • Assessment and Evaluation
    • Create pre/post assessments, case studies, and scenario-based quizzes.
    • Track training effectiveness and learner progress using data and feedback.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Liaise with Operations, Risk, Compliance, HR, and Quality teams to ensure training aligns with current business and regulatory needs.
    • Partner with external certification bodies or advisors, as needed.
  • Capability Building and Mentoring
    • Support train-the-trainer programs and mentor peer trainers or domain champions.
    • Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and promote peer learning across cohorts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration; MBA or relevant certifications (NISM, CFA, FRM, ABA) is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 8–10 years in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services operations.
    • At least 5–7 years of experience in a training, L&D, or knowledge management role.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of products, processes, and regulatory frameworks in BCM.
    • Experience with trade lifecycle, transaction processing, KYC/AML, risk, and compliance.
  • Training Capabilities:
    • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and facilitation.
    • Hands-on with digital learning platforms and content authoring tools.
  • Tools:
    • MS Office (advanced Excel), LMS platforms, data visualization tools (Power BI desirable).
