As the Emergency & Crisis Manager for India region, you will design, implement, and lead regional emergency preparedness and crisis response programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, local authorities and global emergency leaders to ensure readiness, manage incidents, and support recovery efforts. You will also
champion employee well-being and continuity through strategic planning and compassionate engagement.
• Develop and maintain regional emergency response and crisis management plans aligned with global standards.
• Lead real-time crisis management for natural disasters, war, technological failures, security incidents, and other emergencies
• Coordinate with local authorities, security agencies, emergency services, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Organize training, drills, and simulations to build preparedness across ERT, employees and leadership.
• Provide strategic guidance during crises, ensuring timely communication and decision-making.
• Support business continuity planning and execution in collaboration with site leaders and global teams.
• Strengthen organizational resilience by supporting employees and their families to ensure operational continuity and deepen commitment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on emergency readiness and crisis impact.
• Manage emergency budgets, procure specialized equipment, and establish emergency infrastructure
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, HR, and Internal Communications teams to ensure seamless execution
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and global policies.
• Travel across the region as needed to support operations and incident
response.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in emergency management, crisis
response, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in high-pressure environments.
• Strong understanding of emergency protocols, risk management, and
business continuity planning.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Experience working with government agencies and emergency services.
