Job Summary:
The IT Integrator for ELV (SITC) and Security Risk Operation Center is a critical role with high exposure to various levels within G4S. The position focuses on the design, integration, testing, and commissioning (SITC) of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and
communication networks, as well as supporting the IT infrastructure for state-of-the-art SROC operations. The role requires collaboration with project teams, clients, and vendors to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong TCP/IP networking background with in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and services for ELV and SROC applications.
- Design, plan, and implement Windows Server for ELV system and SROC integrations, ensuring compatibility with security applications.
- Install and configure servers (e.g., HP, IBM, Cisco) and virtual servers (e.g., VMware) to support ELV systems and SROC analytics platforms.
- Design, integrate, test, and commission ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and communication networks, using platforms like Genetec Security Center, Milestone XProtect, LenelS2 OnGuard, AMAG Symmetry, and VideoExpert.
- Troubleshoot databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle) used in ELV systems and SROC for real-time analytics and reporting.
- Install, integrate, and modify large IT systems for ELV applications (CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address systems) and SROC operations, utilizing equipment such as servers, RAID hardware, routers, LAN switches, and firewalls, and transmission systems (wired/wireless).
- Apply practical knowledge from past experience with networked IT systems, particularly storage arrays, Windows servers, and Cisco switches, to support ELV SITC and SROC functionality.
- Conduct System Integration, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) for ELV systems, ensuring seamless integration with SROC platforms and compliance with industry standards (e.g., Indian Electricity Rules, NFPA).
- Perform acceptance testing for ELV and SROC systems, securing customer approval and ensuring operational reliability.
- Implement expert-level backup and recovery strategies for ELV and SROC platforms to ensure data integrity and system uptime.
- Collaborate with SROC teams to integrate AI and machine learning tools for advanced security analytics and threat detection.
Educational Background
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
- Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent. Certifications in ELV systems (e.g., SMEClabs ELV Technician, Autodesk AutoCAD) or SROC technologies are a bonus.
Experience Background
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in installation, integration, and troubleshooting of large IT systems, with at least 2 years focused on ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms) and/or SROC operations.
- Proven experience with APIs, designing network layouts, and integrating security systems for SITC processes.
- Knowledge of industry-standard integration technologies such as XML, Oracle, and SQL Server Data Transformation Services.
- Experience with AI-driven security analytics or SROC platforms is a plus. Languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
