Job Description

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
Allocate resources and manage project timelines effectively.

Design & Implementation

Oversee electrical system design for new installations and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and other relevant standards.
Collaborate with automation and instrumentation teams for integrated solutions.

Maintenance & Reliability

Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and utilities.

Project Management

Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and safety norms.
Implement energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, and validation documents.
Prepare reports for audits and management reviews.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pharma or process industries.
Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MCC, PCC, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (USFDA, EU GMP) and GxP compliance.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.

Skills

Knowledge of energy management and automation systems.
