Manager, Electrical Engineering

As a Team Leader in Electrical Engineering at our company, you will have the responsibility of leading and mentoring a team of electrical engineers and technicians. You will allocate resources efficiently and ensure that project timelines are managed effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the design of electrical systems for new installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as IEC and IS. - Collaborate with automation and instrumentation teams to develop integrated solutions. - Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability of manufacturing equipment and utilities. - Prepare technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for projects. - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the execution of projects. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety norms, implementing energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives. - Maintain electrical drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation documents. - Prepare reports for audits and management reviews. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. - 8-12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pharma or process industries. - Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MCC, PCC, VFDs, and power distribution systems. - Familiarity with regulatory standards such as USFDA, EU GMP, and GxP compliance. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
