Job Title: Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Location: Thane, Maharashtra
Experience: 10–15 years
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing all Electrical & Instrumentation engineering activities, including design, installation, maintenance, and commissioning for plant operations and projects. The role involves ensuring reliability, safety, compliance, and optimal performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead E&I maintenance and project execution across plant and utility areas.
• Prepare and review electrical & instrumentation design documents, drawings, and BOQs.
• Ensure timely calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of field instruments and control systems (PLC/DCS).
• Manage power distribution systems, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, transformers, and control panels.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for plant modifications, expansions, and upgrades.
• Evaluate and manage vendors and contractors for E&I works.
• Plan and control departmental budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
• Implement automation improvements and energy-saving projects.
• Maintain documentation as per ISO / GMP / safety standards.
• Provide leadership and training to the E&I maintenance team.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, PLC, DCS, SCADA.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance of instruments like transmitters, control valves, sensors, analyzers, etc.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety concepts.
• Understanding of industrial automation, process control, and energy management.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Industry Background:

• Chemical / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing / EPC

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
