Job Summary:

Manager – Design & Interface

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, review, and management of all design-related activities across multiple infrastructure/metro/railway projects.
• Coordinate and manage interfaces between design, execution, systems, procurement, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of design packages in line with project schedules.
• Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Review and approve design submittals from consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, construction issues, and interface risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and statutory authorities for design approvals and clearances.
• Monitor design changes and ensure proper documentation and communication to all relevant teams.
• Support bid teams and project planning with technical inputs and feasibility assessments.
• Maintain compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety norms.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of civil and structural design principles for metro/railway/infrastructure projects.
• Excellent interface coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with national and international design codes (IS, IRC, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD, Revit, and other relevant design and planning software.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Metro Rail, High-Speed Rail, or other major infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on involvement in DDC coordination, system interfaces (track, signaling, OHE, etc.), and civil integration.
• Exposure to government/PSU projects will be an added advantage.
