Store Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory using software/manual registers.
• Receive, inspect, and verify materials as per delivery challans, purchase orders, and specifications.
• Issue materials as per indent and maintain proper documentation.
• Prepare Material Receipt Notes (MRN), Issue Slips, and other store documents.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Project teams for timely availability of materials.
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification of inventory.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) system for stock issuance.
• Maintain stock levels and raise alerts for re-order levels.
• Manage and supervise unloading/loading activities at the site.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety protocols.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in store management preferably in infrastructure or construction sector.
• Sound knowledge of inventory management systems and documentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Inventory software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of construction materials and handling procedures is essential.
  

Educational Qualification

• Graduate/Diploma in any discipline.
• Certification in store/inventory management will be an added advantage.
