Managing the Internal Customer i.e. the Employees-
- To ensure smooth handling of travel arrangements for all CRISIL locations, both within India and overseas.
- To ensure that all employees receive their travel tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, fleet arrangements, bus bookings, foreign exchange, insurance, and visas in a timely manner.
- To closely monitor and ensure smooth handling of Travel arrangements for CIP/VIP employees as well the Board of Directors.
- To work closely with our designated Travel Management Company (TMC) and logistics partners to ensure the highest level of customer service, while streamlining operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- To arrange and manage off-site events with the highest level of service, negotiating competitive deals to ensure a seamless and cost-effective experience for our clients.
- To consolidate travel arrangements at international offices under the corporate group, streamlining the process and ensuring complete implementation of our travel policy globally to achieve consistency and cost savings.
Travel Operations-
Accommodation
- Ensure cost efficiency and quality control for hotels by regularly reviewing hotels across India, consolidating hotel accommodations with aggregators to bring about cost savings and simplify vendor management, thereby enhancing the overall travel experience.
- To tie up with high quality Service Apartments in all the locations with high traffic. This should bring down the accommodation cost, at the same time maintain the highest standards of service for Employee satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement of Hotel programs.
- Explore and Tie up with Good properties for business MICE requirements.
Travel by Surface
- Cost Efficiency & Quality Control for ad hoc cabs, fleets for employee transportation, Buses, etc.
- To get regular feedback from Business and to publish MIS.
Finance & Accounting
- Enhance the existing Management Information System (MIS) program to develop a more effective dashboard, thereby improving our data analysis capabilities and enabling better-informed decision-making through timely and accurate insights.
- Error Free Provision on monthly Basis.
- To drive Team to get NDC on Quarterly basis and to ensure no case falls in exceptional approval bracket.
- To ensure timely submission of MIS to the Stakeholders
- Closely working with Finance and Accounts to Streamline Travel submission and payments.
- Handle credit card programs and charges
Mitigate Risk & Cost Control
- Visas-To ensure International Ticketing Done Post verification of Valid Visas. Provide advice on travel documents, insurance etc.
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
- Ensure all the compliance and procedures w.r.t to Forex purchase and settlement are met as per the RBI guidelines and Travel Policy.
- Cost monitoring and Control with quarterly operational account reviews
- Negotiate Deals with the Airlines and to drive the team to achieve the target.
- Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers.

- Maintain contracts and agreements with carious partners and timely renewals.
Travel - SBT & Automation
- Ability to single-handedly drive the goal of automating travel and transport services, aiming to provide a better user experience, hassle-free arrangements, and a more robust MIS structure, ultimately streamlining our travel management processes.
- Identify and partner with a Travel Management Company (TMC) that can successfully collaborate with us to achieve our automation goals, leveraging their expertise and technology to enhance our travel management processes and systems.
Managing the Relationships
- Manage relationships with travel agencies and vendors.
- Manage Relationship with Embassies/Consulates for urgent visas and other Visa related work.
- Close interaction with the Stakeholders to get the feedback w.r.t to the Travel Services.
- Should be able to manage Mileage seats for Senior Management and special requirements like MAAS from the Airlines till aircraft for VIP/CIP, Should be able to retain Platinum membership for Senior Management with respective carriers.

Experience
- Proven experience as corporate travel manager
- 10 + yrs. of experience in the Travel Industry
- Working Knowledge of MS office and Various GDS / Portals.
- Knowledge of International Travel regulations, customs and currencies
- Good experience to work on different Travel Portals
- Experience of implementing SBT in his/her previous organization along with the integration of Travel Portal with Finance as well Accounts.
Qualification
- Graduation /Diploma in Travel & Tourism .Candidate with IATA Certification will be preferred .Hotel management will add extra weightage. Training in travel and tourism is a plus.
