In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).

About The Role

As the Manager-Revenue Controllership, you will drive financial excellence bymanaging revenue controllership, automating financial processes, and fosteringstrong stakeholder relationships. This is a team leadership role, where you willmanage a high-performing team of 4-5 finance professionals, which may includeChartered Accountants, ensuring alignment with business goals for POS vertical.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management:
• Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with
  

operational objectives. Assist in business decision-making.

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights through robust financial
  

analysis and reporting.

• Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
  

execution of financial plans.

• Revenue Controllership:
• Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with
  

accounting standards (GAAP) and organizational policies.

• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance
  

financial accuracy.

• Lead periodic reviews of financial performance and recommend
  

improvement strategies.

• Nodal and escrow-related processes and accounting
• Assist with process implementations, preparation, and adherence to
  

key control activities.

• Help in building a strong cost assurance function - analysis on direct
  

costs and ascertain possible avenues for optimization of costs and
work closely with the banking teams in driving negotiations for costreduction

• Process Automation:
• Drive innovation by identifying and implementing automation tools to
  

streamline revenue processes.

• Enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting through
  

technology-driven solutions.

• Team Leadership:
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 finance professionals,
  

including Chartered Accountants.

• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure continuous
  

professional development.

Mandatory Qualifications

 Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 yearsof relevant work experience. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the digital paymentsbusiness (online and offline channels). Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingstandards. Business Acumen: Prior experience in business-facing roles withdemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead high-performing teams.

Preferred Skills
