Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial close and reporting
processes.
Review and prepare
journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
in compliance with US/UK GAAP and IFRS.
Ensure adherence to
internal controls
, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
Support
budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
as part of the FP&A cycle.
Partner with global stakeholders to improve accounting accuracy and financial insights.
Lead or support
finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
.
Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to support management decisions.
Provide audit support and ensure documentation meets compliance standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of
accounting standards (US/UK GAAP, IFRS)
.
Experience in
financial accounting and/or FP&A
.
Hands-on expertise in
Excel, PowerPoint
, and familiarity with systems like
Lawson or Siebel
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Exposure to
audit, controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
.
Ability to manage a small team and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
