You will interact with carrier drivers through live video calls to verify credentials, enforce security protocols, and grant or deny access to the facility, ensuring safe and efficient drop trailer program operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to video calls initiated from on-site call boxes by carrier drivers at the facility gates. Verify driver/carrier credentials and documentation according to GEODIS and security procedures. Ask necessary security and procedural questions to determine access eligibility. Remotely operate gate arms to grant or deny entry/exit as appropriate. Document all interactions and access decisions in the gate operations log or designated system. Escalate suspicious activity, security breaches, or procedural issues to on-site security or facility management as per protocol. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GEODIS drop trailer program procedures and security requirements. Provide courteous, clear, and professional communication always.
