Job Summary:

As a Control Tower Manager, you will oversee all operational functions within our supply chain, ensuring efficient Sort Center operations and managing key metrics. You will drive end-to-end initiatives, address disruptions swiftly, and coordinate with Product Tech Ops and Design teams to enhance service speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial for maintaining operational excellence and optimizing performance across all functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Metric Ownership:

  Manage critical supply chain metrics such as Breach and Extent of Breach. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Initiative Execution:

  Lead and implement end-to-end initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and tracking of progress. Develop solutions to optimize asset flow and address disruptions.

• Monitoring & Risk Management:

  Oversee shipment flow, pendencies, cut-off misses, and functional breaches. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Liaison & Communication:

  Act as the primary contact between Product Tech Ops and Design teams, managing communication and coordination to address disruptions effectively.

• Event Management:

  Plan and execute responses to key events, including volume spikes, using predefined and new strategies to ensure readiness and efficient handling of increased demand.

• Operational Excellence:

  Supervise daily Sort Center operations, ensuring process adherence and efficiency. Design and implement effective playbooks.

• Performance Metrics & Analysis:

  Generate and review eKart scorecard metrics, providing root cause analysis (RCA). Drive process reviews and improvements across functions.

• Process Improvement:

  Regularly update playbooks for all assets and collaborate with Product and Analytics teams to provide insights from a Control Tower perspective.

• Disruption Management:

  Develop and implement strategies to address breakdowns and disruptions, including tech issues and external factors, to improve service speed and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain operations or logistics with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in performance metrics and process improvement.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management and disruptions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience liaising across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and supply chain management systems preferred.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
