Job Description

1. Order Fulfilment & Delivery Excellence

• Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of all B2B orders with consistently high fill rates.

• Monitor daily order movement, highlight risks proactively, and deploy corrective actions to prevent delays.

• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, planning, and transport partners to ensure seamless order execution.

• Maintain real-time visibility of order status through dashboards and SLA performance trackers.


2. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency

• Drive cost optimization across logistics operations, including freight, labour, packaging, and warehousing expenses.

• Analyse cost trends, identify inefficiencies, and implement initiatives that reduce cost per order and cost per shipment.

• Optimize route planning, vehicle load utilization, and dispatch batching to reduce transportation costs.

• Ensure vendor compliance with agreed rate cards and performance benchmarks.


3. Inventory Accuracy & Warehouse Operations

• Ensure high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and process adherence at warehouses.

• Track and minimise inventory variances between system stock and physical stock.

• Strengthen inward, storage, and picking processes to prevent misplacements and stock errors.

• Improve warehouse productivity through SOP creation, process standardisation, and workforce planning.


4. Damage Control & Quality Compliance

• Reduce damages during handling, storage, and transit through robust packaging and handling SOPs.

• Conduct RCA for damaged, expired, or lost inventory and implement preventive actions.

• Ensure warehouses maintain hygiene, safety standards, and product handling protocols appropriate to the category.


5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Planning, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment on stock availability, dispatch priorities, and order commitments.

• Provide timely updates to the sales team on delays, shortages, and expected delivery timelines.

• Drive partner performance through structured review mechanisms and SLAs.


6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Build and maintain dashboards for OTIF, fill rate, damage %, warehouse accuracy, and cost metrics.

• Present weekly and monthly performance reviews with clear insights and action plans.

• Own key KPIs including: OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Fill Rate, Cost per Order / Shipment, Inventory Accuracy %, Damage / Loss %, SLA adherence (transport & warehouse)
