Key Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and manage a team of 10–15 software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Act as a hands-on developer, contributing to system architecture, code reviews, and complex feature development.
• Collaborate with third-party System Integrators and vendors to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Define and implement best practices for coding standards, development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and project management.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of all applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Preferred Skills & Qualities

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and related frameworks/databases.
• Experience managing external vendors and System Integrators.
• Knowledge of educational technology platforms and systems.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical ability.
• Experience in an educational institution is a significant plus.
