POSITION SUMMARY :

Manager – Administration


KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Campus Operations
  2. Facility Management
  3. Security
  4. Housekeeping and support services
  5. Vendor and asset management
  6. Statutory vCompliance
  7. Event and Logistic support

The details are as under

  • Oversee daily campus operational activities ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Supervise maintenance of campus infrastructure, classrooms, hostel, cafeteria, library, laboratories, and open areas.
  • Monitor utilities management (electricity, water supply, generators, air conditioning, lifts, etc.)
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the entire campus.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for equipment, infrastructure, and other campus assets.
  • Ensure upkeep of physical infrastructure including classrooms, hostel, cafeteria, offices, and public spaces.
  • Oversee AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) vendors and service providers.
  • Supervise security staff and ensure campus safety and surveillance.
  • Manage access control, emergency evacuation procedures, and disaster management protocols.
  • Liaison with local police/fire authorities for emergency and safety requirements.
  • Lead a team of housekeeping, maintenance, and support staff.
  • Ensure timely cleanliness of all academic and administrative blocks, hostel, cafeteria, and recreational areas.
  • Regular inspection and audits for hygiene standards and upkeep.
  • Handle vendor negotiations, service agreements, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, and stock management of consumables and administrative supplies.
  • Maintain updated records of institutional assets and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations related to building safety, waste management, pollution control, and other legal requirements.
  • Manage documentation and liaison with local civic bodies and government authorities.
  • Coordinate logistics and infrastructure arrangements for college events, seminars, workshops, and placement drives.
  • Provide administrative support during academic events and student activities.


QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Administration/Management/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 - 10

    years

    of experience in administration, preferably in an educational institution or corporate campus environment.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams, multiple vendors, and complex operations.

MUST HAVE :

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good knowledge of facility management systems.
  • Familiarity with government regulatory and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, administrative software, and inventory management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
