Management Trainee

Job Overview

The Management Trainee and Trainee positions are designed to provide hands-on exposure to all key departments of the hotel. The selected candidates will undergo structured on-the-job training and mentorship under experienced professionals to develop managerial and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the assigned department.
• Support the department head in maintaining service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Learn and implement hotel operating procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvement.
• Handle guest queries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and efficiency of assigned areas.
• Prepare daily reports and assist in administrative duties as required.
• Develop an understanding of revenue management, cost control, and inventory processes.
• Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Business Administration.
• Experience: Freshers may apply; prior internship or hotel experience will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, grooming standards, and a keen interest in hospitality.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Training Duration & Growth

• Trainee Programme: 6 months (with possible extension based on performance).
• Management Trainee Programme: 12 months structured rotational program.
• Outstanding performers may be absorbed into permanent roles within the organization upon successful completion of the program.
