NGEN Research is hiring Business Development Management Trainees. We serve retail clients in the financial services industry. We are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team. Introduction about the company: NGEN Research is a financial technology firm based out of India with offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and London. We provide institutional class Financial Analytics and deep-dive security analysis via a cloud-based platform. We serve a variety of clients from large banks and mutual fund companies to individual wealth managers and finance students. Our partners come from solid institutional asset management backgrounds having managed several billion dollars across top-tier global investment management firms, banks, and hedge funds. Responsibilities: · Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer (Financial Advisors / Wealth Firms) needs. · Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media · Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns · Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services · Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data · Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences · Negotiate/close deals and achieve sales target. Also, should handle complaints or objections · Collaborate with team members to achieve better results · Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams · Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly sales reports Qualification: · Proficiency in English · Excellent knowledge of MS Office · Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus · Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques · Fast learner and passion for Sales and Financial Markets · Self-motivated with a results-driven approach · Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations · Graduates / MBA Preferred (In progress/completed) Job Location: Kolkata, West Bengal Compensation: 8000 p.m. for three months (3 to 3.5 LPA CTC post the management traineeship period) Note – The requirement to serve as a trainee for 3 months can be completely waived or curtailed to shorter period, in case of exceptional candidates.
