About The Role
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for safety personnel and plant.
- Participate directly in site emergency response team.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of complex powder processing, blending and high-speed packaging equipment.
- Must be able to repair and install various equipment, guards and piping using lifting devices if required.
- Responsible for performing PM's and work orders as well as project work.
- Disassembly, diagnosis, repairs and re-assembly of machinery to hygienic and sanitary standards.
- Participates in the development of a Predictive Maintenance program at Tuas.
- Complete all necessary reports and documentation via hardcopy and computer.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in accordance to all safety and GMP policies.
- Be able to use independent judgment and work well within a team concept.
- Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Follow all cGMP requirements to ensure proper manufacturing environment.
- Actively participate in the resolution and elimination of downtime issues.
- Assist in the creation of SOP's, checklist, and work instructions.
- Provide training and guidance to new employees.
- Complete all necessary transactions, reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment to 5S or similar standard.
- Be able to use independent judgment and work well within a team environment.
- Adhere to the Tuas Code of Conduct.
The experience we're looking for
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechatronics equivalent qualifications
- At least 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience
- Proficiency in SAP and Ms Office is a must
- Familiar with predictive and preventative maintenance technologies
- Experience in a nutrition industry or infant formula manufacturing environment is required.
