Ensure proper execution of Pilot Plant trials/laboratory activities including all the preparatory and setting-up activities up, close-out activities and the turn-over of product samples and the storing of Pilot Batch records. You will also provide support to Project Teams when required such as the physical testing of raw materials and finished products, the receiving and sending samples and such other requests. Your responsibilities Execute preventive and maintenance programs (focused with electrical and electronics) as well as in the conduct of line and equipment troubleshooting as provided by the immediate superior with minimal guidance. Manage thoroughly the operating supplies including laboratory consumables, chemicals, lab uniforms and PPEs, lab wares, etc. ensuring its availability when needed. Perform inventory management of raw and packaging materials and finished product samples in the storage and stability rooms and warehouse ensuring its accuracy, cleanliness and orderliness. Prepare the raw and packaging materials with proper labelling needed for Lab- or Pilot-scale trials according to the signed and approved Pilot Plant Batch Records. Ensure the timely submission of test samples and collection of test results. Receive delivery of raw materials and packaging materials at Reckitt R&D Warehouse and prepare raw and packaging materials, finished goods or any item needed for shipment. Provide assistance to R&D Managers and Scientists in the conduct of Pilot-scale and Plant Trial runs in Reckitt Plants including trials conducted in Reckitt Third Party Manufacturing facilities and any other support they may need. Performs record keeping of all activities in R&D laboratories, pilot plants, warehouses and storage rooms. About The Role Reporting to Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible to manufacture quality products that meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Production Technicians are responsible for executing the processing operations that support the needs of the business. Production Technicians also perform duties associated with operating, monitoring, connecting, cleaning and troubleshooting the drying equipment. Production Technicians will be assigned either to the dry side, liquid side or control room for the processing operations and may rotate through each area whenever required. Operate the processing computer control system, including trouble shooting issues and monitoring while in operations. Assist in the creation of SOP’s, checklist, and work instructions whenever required. Provide training and guidance to new employees whenever required. Perform all secondary duties associated with the processing operations (including maintaining of log-sheets and batch records) Perform all required cleaning as instructed (including making proper sanitary connections for all forms of cleaning). Perform chemical tests and maintain day tank levels whenever required. Perform all assigned preventative maintenance of drying equipment whenever required. Execute proper disassembly and assembly of various machineries in the production areas. Complete all necessary transactions, reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment at all times. Demonstrate capability to use independent judgment and work well within a team environment. Maintain current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Maintain a good inventory of QC materials such as reagents, chemicals and consumables to support testing. Use GLIMS laboratory data management system effectively to manage the laboratory generated data. Be able to use GLIMS to retrieve the results to support the data trending and investigation purpose. Maintain housekeeping standard of laboratory, work area and equipment (e.g. practice 5S), observe safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practice in the laboratory which is compliant with company and regulatory standards. The experience we're looking for At least degree holder at microbiology, food science or related with 1 to 3 years of testing experience, preferable in infant formula manufacturing industry.
