Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Head at our biscuit manufacturing facility in Bihar, India, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure the efficient functioning of machinery and equipment. Your leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience managing maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, manage, and supervise the maintenance team to guarantee the smooth operation of machinery. - Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in production equipment. - Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks. - Monitor spare parts inventory to ensure availability of necessary components. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols, cleanliness, and best practices throughout the facility. - Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify and address potential issues. - Analyze maintenance data to optimize processes and reduce maintenance costs. - Develop and manage maintenance budgets for cost-effective operations. - Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance skills and efficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field). - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the biscuit manufacturing industry. - Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, PLCs, and automation systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and efficiently handle emergency breakdowns. - Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
