Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement

  predictive and preventive maintenance schedules

  for all equipment, including:
• Excavators, pipelayers, and cranes
• Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) machines and related assets
• Microtunneling machine
• Passenger vehicles and pickups etc.
• Compressors
• Auto-welding machines etc.
• Monitor equipment health and performance to anticipate breakdowns and reduce downtime.
• Lead a team of site mechanics, technicians, and operators in carrying out timely maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and take corrective measures.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables in coordination with the procurement team.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports in an organized and up-to-date manner.
• Implement cost-control measures in repairs, spares procurement, and servicing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OEM standards, and regulatory guidelines during all maintenance activities.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers and service providers for major repairs and AMC services.
• Prepare and submit

  monthly maintenance MIS reports

  (downtime, costs, preventive vs. breakdown ratio, etc.).
• Support project teams by ensuring equipment readiness for mobilization to sites as per project timelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• 7-12 years of proven experience in equipment/vehicle maintenance, preferably in construction / oil & gas / infrastructure industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment, hydraulics, electricals, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience in predictive and preventive maintenance systems.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple maintenance activities across locations.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, maintenance software/ERP (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
