Role & responsibilities Seeking a talented business development manager to join our team to drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. The role shall focus primarily on building client relationships, collaborating with team members, and creating effective business strategies to expand companys presence in Indian markets. The ideal candidate shall have strong problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, and a proven track record in closing deals. The business development manager will work closely with other stakeholders viz., delivery teams and other business units in the company to align strategies and achieve shared goals. This is a full-time role offering opportunities to develop new market opportunities for products /services, form strategic partnerships, and shape the future of the company through innovative sales strategy and market approach initiatives Key responsibilities The business development manager is responsible for driving business growth and increasing profitability. Lead generation. Research and engage with potential clients through cold calling, social media, and CRM software such as Salesforce. Strategic partnerships. Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders to support company objectives. Market Opportunity research. Analyze industry trends, target markets, and end user client needs to develop informed and well thought through business strategies. Sales strategies. Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies that drive new business and revenue growth. Revenue forecasts. Monitor budgets, margins & profitability, assess pricing models and forecast potential revenue growth opportunities. Project management.. Collaborating with team members for client onboarding. Work with the sales team, marketing, and product development to ensure goals are aligned and projects run smoothly. Building relationships. Nurture strong client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications and skills Business development manager, candidates should possess the following qualifications and abilities: Education. A bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required; a masters degree is preferred. Work experience. At least 5-8 years of experience in lead generation, client relationships, or strategic partnerships in Indian Market. Techno Commercial skills. Proficiency in selling Technology solutions Dot Net, Share Point, enterprise business applications and in proposing commercially viable effective solutions Identifying new business opportunities. Conduct extensive market research to uncover new markets, potential business opportunities, and innovative solutions. Building relationships. Develop client relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to secure partnerships that align with company goals. Developing business plans. Create detailed business plans that outline strategies for new markets, client needs, and new products. Communication skills. Strong written and verbal abilities for presenting business plans and collaborating with team members. Closing deals. Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure new clients and finalize strategic partnerships that contribute to profitability. Time management. Demonstrate agility skills in prioritizing tasks, ability to analyze challenges and lead the team in delivering effective mitigation strategies including meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
