Position Summary : The Sales Head will be responsible for leading the companys sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability. The person will oversee the entire sales function, including strategic planning, team development, budgeting, and overall business development. This position will play a crucial role in setting long-term sales objectives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and optimizing performance across global and domestic markets. Job Description: Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives. Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence. Drive sales process optimization and implement best practices. Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and overall business strategies. Revenue Growth & Profitability: Set and achieve aggressive sales targets to maximize revenue. Monitor profit margins and implement strategies to enhance profitability. Develop and oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and key client relationships. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Develop and manage the annual sales department budget. Allocate resources efficiently to drive sales performance. Ensure financial accountability and cost optimization within the department. Departmental Target Achievement: Define and implement performance metrics for the sales team. Monitor individual and team achievements, ensuring sales targets are met. Take corrective measures to address underperformance and drive success. Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and global expansion strategies. Expand sales and partnerships in domestic and international markets. Lead initiatives for customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. Strengthen brand positioning through strategic marketing efforts. Leadership & Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team. Foster a results-driven sales culture with a focus on collaboration and innovation. Conduct regular training programs to enhance team capabilities. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends. Analyze competitor strategies and adjust sales approaches accordingly. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for business growth Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Develop long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Implement CRM tools and data-driven sales management practices. Ensure a seamless customer experience from lead generation to post-sale support. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of sales contracts. Align sales initiatives with product development and innovation teams. Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Engineering & MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in industrial machinery. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and negotiation skills. Experience in international sales and multi-region market expansion. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other sales automation tools.
