Sales Head
2. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement a strong sales strategy for vending machine placements across corporate offices, IT parks, industries, hospitals, colleges, hostels, malls, and public spaces.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and installation targets.
- Create a pipeline for key accounts and large multi-location clients (All-India deployments).
- Identify new business opportunities, market gaps, and emerging customer needs.
Client Acquisition & Negotiations
- Generate leads, conduct corporate presentations, site visits, and finalize commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, rental/commission models, and long-term contracts.
- Build strong relationships with Admin/Facility Managers, HR Heads, Procurement Teams, and Property Managers.
Team Management
- Lead a team of Sales Executives/Managers across Chennai & other major Indian cities.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, coach team members, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Conduct regular reviews, training, and field visits with the sales team.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, installation, and technical teams for smooth deployment of vending machines.
- Ensure machines are installed on time, stocked properly, and maintained as per SLA.
- Work closely with service teams to resolve client issues quickly.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activity, new product trends, and pricing models in the vending industry.
- Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, revenue forecasts, and business insights to management.
- Recommend improvements in product placement, pricing, and customer experience.
Key Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with large corporate clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Explore additional opportunities at existing accounts new machine placements, upgrades, new categories.
- Manage renewals, contract extensions, and expansion opportunities.
3. Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Sales / Marketing or relevant field.
- MBA (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience in:
- Vending machines
- FMCG distribution
- Facility management
- Office automation / equipment leasing
- Corporate/Institutional sales
- Strong network in Chennai and major Indian metros is an added advantage.
Skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Indian corporate procurement processes.
- Ability to multitask, travel frequently, and manage a large territory.
- Strong analytical skills with understanding of sales forecasting & budgeting.
