As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and repair of all machinery, equipment, and utilities in the Lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and improving equipment efficiency to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

  Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs:

  Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted production.

• Equipment Calibration & Optimization:

  Ensure all production equipment is calibrated and optimized for maximum efficiency and longevity.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Spare Parts Management:

  Monitor and manage inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring availability while optimizing costs.

• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to workplace safety protocols and environmental regulations.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.

• Vendor Coordination:

  Liaise with equipment manufacturers and service providers for maintenance contracts, spare parts procurement, and technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor&aposs degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a battery manufacturing, electronics, or chemical processing industry.

• Valid &aposB' or C License for Electrical Work is Mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with maintenance of manufacturing equipment such as mixers, coating machines, drying ovens, formation & testing equipment, and BMS systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 guidelines.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency maintenance situations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
