Responsibilities: Safe and Prompt Transportation: Operate the ambulance vehicle safely and efficiently under all weather and road conditions, adhering to all traffic laws and emergency protocols. Assistance to Medical Staff: Assist paramedics and EMTs with lifting, moving, and positioning patients onto and off the ambulance stretcher. Help secure patients and equipment safely within the ambulance. Provide basic assistance to medical personnel as directed during emergencies (e.g., holding equipment, navigating). Communication and Documentation: Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical personnel, and hospital staff. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including patient transport forms, mileage logs, and incident reports. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
