Project Tenure: Long-term project Job Description: • Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documents to create comprehensive test plans and cases. • Perform manual testing of mainframe applications, especially those involving CICS online screens and batch jobs. • Execute test cases for COBOL/CICS programs and validate results against expected outcomes. • Create, manage, and maintain test data in a mainframe environment. • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or equivalent. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases. • Validate system interfaces and data integrity across DB2 VSAM, and other mainframe databases. • Participate in regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing phases. • Provide regular status updates and contribute to test strategy planning.
