📈 Experience: 9+ Years 📍 Location: Hyderabad/Mumbai 📢 Immediate to 15 days and are highly encouraged to apply! 🔧 Primary Skills: Mainframe Developer, Lead, Cobol, VSAM, IMS DB, CICS, API Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Mainframe Developer / Lead with 9+ years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise-scale mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in COBOL, VSAM, IMS DB, and CICS , with hands-on experience integrating mainframe systems using APIs . As a technical leader, you will guide teams, drive quality solutions, and support modernization efforts aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable mainframe solutions using COBOL, VSAM, IMS DB , and CICS . Build and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs to integrate mainframe applications with distributed systems. Act as a technical lead: provide design direction, code reviews, and mentorship to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and QA teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and test environments. Participate in mainframe modernization initiatives and cloud integration strategies. Document technical designs, configurations, and workflows. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and compliance policies. Required Skills: 9+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL , VSAM , CICS , IMS DB . Strong understanding of JCL , Job Scheduling , and Mainframe Utilities . Experience working with API integration (REST/SOAP) in a mainframe environment. Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of batch and online processing in high-volume systems. Exposure to DevOps tools, Agile practices, and version control systems (e.g., Endevor, Git). Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions and stakeholder interactions.
