Your role

We are seeking a Mainframe Engineer with strong analytical skills to work on Mainframe-related enhancements. This role involves analyzing requirements, writing, testing, and debugging mainframe code. The candidate should be familiar with the end-to-end project lifecycle and is expected to create and maintain relevant documentation and artifacts.We’re looking for a mainframe developer to:

• develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs.
• contribute to defining standards
• translate business requirements into code
• collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an agile framework
• conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
• identify opportunities to improve existing processes
  

Your team

You’ll be working in the GWM Americas IT team in Pune, IN. We provide quality, innovative solutions that support our business partners in achieving their goals.

Your expertise

• professional with a career reflecting tech leadership abilities coupled with "hands on" experience in a diverse range of software projects. should have at least 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining it software systems.
• strong experience in cobol, cics, jcl, vsam, stored procedures, db2 and other mainframe related tools.
• strong experience in online and batch related mainframe functions.
• strong experience in analyzing and writing stored procedures.
• exposure on core java, rest api, microservice and spring framework
• strong understanding of relational db (mainframe db2, oracle, sql).
• good understanding of agile based execution processes.
• proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements.
