Job Description

Your Role

Monitor and analyzemainframe system performanceusing tools likeRMF, SMF, and other performance monitoring utilities.

Conductcapacity planningby forecasting future resource needs based on usage trends and business growth.

Performperformance tuningby optimizing system configurations and implementing best practices.

Generate and presentregular reportson system performance, capacity utilization, and trends, with actionable recommendations.

Collaborate withapplication developers, infrastructure engineers, and other IT teams to resolve performance issues and implement enhancements.

Your Profile

4-12 years of experience in mainframe performance and capacity planning, especially with IBM z/OS systems.

Proficient in usingRMF, SMF, and other performance and capacity planning tools.

Stronganalytical and problem-solving skillsto identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Excellentcommunication skillsto collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
