Role Description

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

full-time, remote capacity

you’ll be instrumental in constructing our state-of-the-art conversational AI product 

amidst a rapidly evolving and high-velocity landscape. We’re scouting for a hands-on, 

seasoned, and technically strong senior machine learning engineer who thrives on crafting 

robust, scalable cloud services that lay the groundwork for our revolutionary 

conversational experience across enterprises. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models, including recommendation systems 

and advanced search functionalities (semantic, vector-based, and keyword-based). 

• Develop and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based applications by 

designing effective prompts and integrating external knowledge sources to enhance 

contextual relevance and user experience. 

• Analyze historical data to understand business use cases and develop robust, data

driven algorithms. 

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, background cron jobs, workflows, and data 

pipelines to ensure scalability and optimal performance. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into 

effective technical solutions using Python and object-oriented programming 

principles. 

• Optimize and refactor existing systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and 

performance. 

• Ensure code quality and maintainability through comprehensive testing, regular 

code reviews, and adherence to industry best practices. 

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously 

enhance and innovate product offerings. 

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of semantic search concepts, including the design and 

implementation of search functionalities that leverage both vector-based and 

keyword-based techniques. 

• Demonstrated experience in designing and building recommendation algorithms to 

deliver personalized user experiences. 

• Experience in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based applications, 

with expertise in prompt designing to optimize contextual retrieval and generation. 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development with a proven track record 

of building scalable and maintainable solutions. 

• Strong knowledge of at least one major Python web framework (Django, Flask, or 

FastAPI) to design and deploy robust applications. 

• Extensive experience in leveraging object-oriented programming (OOP) principles in 

Python to develop modular and reusable code. 

• Hands-on experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for 

effective data manipulation and analysis. 

• Previous experience in the job-candidate matching domain is highly desirable. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working with different large language models (LLMs), including 

finetuning. 

• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and multi-component pipelines (MCP) 

development is a strong plus. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying and scaling 

applications. 

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such 

as Kubernetes. 

• Proven ability to work in agile development environments. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast

paced setting.
