Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Development

  : Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium with Java or playwright with typescript/JavaScript or equivalent automation tool.

• Sprint Automation

  : Collaborate with development teams to identify in-sprint tasks for automation and deliver within sprint timelines.

• API Testing

  : Develop and execute API tests using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.

• Database Testing

  : Work with MongoDB to validate database integrations, queries, and operations as part of end-to-end testing.

• Test Planning and Execution

  : Analyze requirements, create test plans and test cases, and ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Collaboration

  : Act as an individual contributor while effectively collaborating with Agile teams, including developers and product owners.

• Defect Management

  : Identify, log, and track defects to closure using tools like JIRA or similar.

• Agile Methodologies

  : Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Documentation

  : Maintain detailed test artifacts, including test cases, test plans, and results documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software QA, with expertise in

  Selenium/Playwright automation using Java/JavaScript/typescript

  .

• Proficiency in Java/Typescript/

   for developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of

  AI Prompting

   is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of UI and

  API testing

   methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with

  MongoDB

   for database validations.
• In-depth understanding of

  Agile methodologies

   and experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to work independently as an

  individual contributor

   while aligning with team goals.
• Skilled in identifying and automating test cases for in-sprint tickets.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
