Logistics & Vendor Operations Associate

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, reliable operator to manage our inbound supply chain, packaging vendor relationships, and logistics workflows at Vezzo. This role sits at the intersection of procurement, execution, and process optimization — and is critical to ensuring we deliver a seamless, high-quality experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Logistics:

  Coordinate and manage the inbound movement of finished goods from manufacturers to our warehouse(s). Track shipment timelines, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure goods arrive as per schedule, in coordination with the warehousing team.

• Vendor Sourcing & Management:

  Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for packaging, marketing collateral and transportation. Negotiate rates, set service-level expectations, and build long-term partnerships.

• Packaging SOPs:

  Design and document standard operating procedures for how every Vezzo product is packed and shipped — from primary to tertiary packaging. Ensure consistency, brand alignment, and cost-effectiveness.

• TAT Tracking:

  Define, monitor, and improve turnaround times across production, vendor delivery, and packaging readiness. Escalate delays and implement fixes.

• Cross-functional Coordination:

  Work closely with the design, production, and warehouse teams to ensure packaging is aligned with product drops and launch timelines.

• Data & Reporting:

  Maintain records of vendor costs, delivery timelines, issue logs, and contract terms. Create and maintain weekly status reports.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, operations, or vendor management (preferably in a D2C or consumer products brand)
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Process-oriented, with a bias for structured documentation and clear communication
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, basic dashboards, and inventory tracking tools
• High agency and bias for action without waiting to be told, ability to pushback
• Fluent in English and Hindi
• Mumbai-based or willing to relocate
