Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate logistics operations, covering transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. You will be tasked with monitoring, measuring, and enhancing logistics performance and costs while ensuring compliance with both local and international shipping regulations. Your role will involve optimizing routes and transportation methods to minimize costs and delivery times. Collaboration with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams is crucial to align logistics with company operations effectively. Additionally, you will negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers. Supervising, training, and evaluating logistics staff and warehouse personnel will be part of your routine tasks. It will also be essential to generate accurate reports on logistics performance, costs, and service levels and to handle logistics-related issues efficiently. You will be expected to implement safety and compliance standards throughout the logistics process. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is a must. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities. The ability to lead and manage teams effectively is also a key requirement. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and a yearly bonus. The work location is in-person.
